Grimes
Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY born March 17, 1988), known professionally as Grimes she is an Canadian musician and singer/songwriter and producer of records. The early work of her was called "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4and influenced by hip-hop and electronic music, as well as rock. Her songs frequently touch on science fiction and feminist themes. Five studio albums were made available by the group. Grimes was born and raised in Vancouver in the early 1990s, before she moved to Montreal in 2000. Grimes started releasing her songs as a solo artist from the mid 2000s. There were albums out by Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes as well as Halfaxa in 2010. Following her joining 4AD and gaining the charts through Visions the third album of studio work. Visions includes the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". The album was one of the winners of the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. The album that she released as her fourth studio effort Art Angels was released in 2015. It received high praise by critics and a variety of magazines voted it to be the top album. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth studio album. Grimes has also been an actor and judge in Alter Ego's music competitions, played a part as an actress in Cyberpunk 2077 which was released 20th of January, 2020.
