Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American musician, model and singer. Most famously, she is known for playing 'Blair Waldorf,' on the television drama "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester started her career as a kid. She was featured on a stage in her town in the production of 'The Wizard of Oz'. The show led to her interest in acting. In the beginning when she was a model, she made her debut as a model and actor in commercials, modeling. Through her modeling assignments she worked with major brands like "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Her first job was as a fashion model, but then moved on to acting. Her acting career began with the popular television show 'Law & Order'. She has since performed cameos on the form of feature films as well as TV shows like 'Country Strong and 'Monte Carlo', and 'Killer Movie'. Aside from performing, she's created music and songs in collaboration with several noted performers, such as 'Cobra Starship as well as singer Robin Thicke.
