There's not much information about the family of her mother. The mother of Erin is Mexican heritage, and her father was Filipino. Erin Lim has also an older sister who goes by the name of Erica. Erin Lim graduated from an exclusive high school in California. After she graduated from high school she entered the Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. There she graduated with a bachelor's degree in arts in May of 2013 with a major in TV and Broadcast Journalism. Rubi Benton's parents are John Benton and Nardos Bebrelul. John Benton has a mixed African American/Japanese background and was raised by an Eritrean mother. Her mother was born in Ethiopia although being an Eritrean. Her father is an adoptive which means that her biological paternal mother is Japanese. Scarlette is her elder sister as is Coral, her younger sister. The year she lived at Geneva, Switzerland. She moved from Switzerland to Atlanta in Georgia during her junior year. Georgia State University was where she studied politics. She grew up listening to Prince Michael Jackson Biggie Marvin Gaye Chaka Khan. Megan Thee Stallion influenced her as did Nicki Minnaj, Cardi B, and Foxy Brown. Rose became famous as the model of the Migos music video Bad and Boujee. Around this time she began appearing regularly on a Twitch stream alongside Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop Commentator DJ Akademiks. Rose has also released her own music and was famous in the year 2019 when she released Rubi Rose:Big Mouth (2019).
